SMART Board – Spec Ed Teachers
This course is designed for teachers who want to develop interactive hands-on resources for special education classes. The SMART Board - Spec ed course is intended for educators who are already familiar with the SMART board and have already taken our SMART board Fundamental course or another in-depth SMART course.
Please bring existing resources to create new interactive lessons and activities.
The SMART Board – Spec Ed Teachers focuses on:
During this course, participants will develop SMART board activities to support
- Emotional development
- Fine motor skills development
- Literacy: shared reading, vocabulary development
- Numeracy: through the use of virtual manipulatives
- Classification strategies
- Classroom routines: calendars, attendance, seating plans, schedules
- Visually and hearing impaired students
- Importing images from other programs
Costs
$295 + gst per person + applicable taxes
Discounts for 5 or more attendees. (All major credit cards are accepted)
Courses are limited to 7 people per session.
