This half day course is designed for educators who have no experience using a SMART Board and want a basic introduction to the SMART Board that will get them started. The SMART Board Basics is ideal for attendees that are a bit tentative about using technology.

This course is intended for new SMART board users who are looking for enough information to get started using the SMART board. The course focuses on how to use the SMART board including:
- Connecting the SMART board
- Trouble shooting connections
- Downloading SMART Notebook software and Gallery Essentials,
- Accessing websites with the SMART board
- Understanding SMART Notebook software
- Creating, saving and opening a SMART board file
- Starting points for getting started with the SMART board
- Downloading, saving and opening lessons from the SMART website
Costs
$110 + gst per person + applicable taxes
Discounts for 5 or more attendees. (All major credit cards are accepted)
Courses are limited to 7 people per session.
