SMART Board - Junior Teachers
This course is designed for teachers who want to develop interactive hands-on resources for their 4 – 6 classroom and are ready to extend SMART board use in the classroom by developing original resources. The SMART Board – Junior Teachers course is intended for educators who are already familiar with the SMART board and SMART Notebook software and have already taken our SMART board Fundamental course or another in-depth SMART course. Please bring existing resources you want to re-purpose for use on the SMART board.
The SMART Board – Junior Teachers focuses on:
- Re-purposing existing resources for use with the SMART board
- Support numeracy, literacy and other curriculum areas with interactive lessons that support among other things:
- Science experiments
- Cuisenaire rods
- labeling diagrams
- algebra tiles
- Calculators
- Motion geometry
- Fractions
- Shared Reading
- Graphic organizers
Costs
$295 + gst per person + applicable taxes
Discounts for 5 or more attendees. (All major credit cards are accepted)
Courses are limited to 7 people per session.
